Allintitle importance for SEO?

March 16th, 2009

Google Allintitle even if some people will disagree with me stills an important factor in SEO, as you can see in this video allintitle shows you the actual competition number for a keyword.
Knowing the competition numbers existing for a determined keyword is vital for your business, so by compering multiple keywords using allintitle you could easily find which keyword has the less competition and put more emphasis on the keyword with less competition instead of wasting all your efforts in some over competitive keywords in the web.

Allintitle is important, so don’t forget to add the keywords you try to rank for in your titles but avoid spamming your pages using the same keyword all over your site, think that you write for people and not just for search engines, so try keeping your sites welcoming and natural.

Allinanchor is another way to find the competition online, similar to allintitle but with the difference that it shows the keyword numbers being used in anchor links.

If you are new with Allintitle and Allinanchor, just visit Google and type allinanchor:Keyword or allintitle:Keyword and press search, so easy as that, but remember to change Keyword by the word you are actually looking for, if you have a keyword composed of two words or more you can use the following formats:

allintitle:”word1 word2″ or allinanchor:”word1 word2″

What are the best SEO tactics for website subpages?

March 11th, 2009

Doing SEO for a large site (20+ pages)?. What are the best practices in regards to the sub-pages of the site? Should I put keywords for sub-pages, and if yes how similar can they be to my home page keywords? What about description and page title, how long should those be and how similar to the home page? Is there anything else that can be done for SEO optimization?

Well, i have to tell you that it doesn’t really matter what keywords you use for subpages as long as your page is optimized for them and your content is a match. As long as you build backlinks to your site and subpages, you will be going in the right direction!
